About The Test

The immigration test is designed to make sure that you’re capable of functioning as a citizen of the United States. It requires you to have a basic understanding of US Civics, and during the naturalization test, you will be asked up to 10 questions from the 100 available. The pass mark is 6 out of 10.

There is also a language component to the test – being able to demonstrate basic competency in reading, writing and speaking in English.
